The musical output of Vlastimil Peška is very extensive, and touches on nearly all types of music. As a patron of the Janáček Academy of Brno, he contributed to the composition class of Professor Miloslav Ištvan by starting to devote himself to composing not only so-called contemporary classical music, but also scenic music and arrangements for BROLN (The Brno orchestra of folk instruments, in which he worked while at Czech Radio Brno)
He is also the author of numerous songs of various genres.

The musical scores for all of the above compositions are available either through the author, at CHF Prague, from the archives of Czech Radio Brno, from the archives of the JAMU Library in Brno or from the NELA Publishing House of Brno.
